Policy on the recruitment of ex-offenders

As an umbrella organisation processing DBS checks on behalf of other organisations, WebxSolution Ltd complies fully with the DBS code of practice and is committed to ensuring that all DBS applicants are treated fairly and with respect.

WebxSolution Ltd ensures that:

  • No applicant is unfairly discriminated against based on information revealed during a criminal record check.
  • Only legally entitled organisations are allowed to request DBS checks for positions that fall under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order or Police Act Regulations (as amended).
  • Only convictions and cautions that are not protected under the relevant legislation are disclosed.
