The brief was to implement a new process of managing CitySprint's couriers online.
This was to extend to document management, driver accounts, invoice generation, asset management, SMS and email notification and connect to the DVLA and VOSA databases to check drivers' insurance and MOT documents.
It started with an interview process, where we took the time to understand CitySprint's unique business model. We researched their requirements, looked at similar systems, explored existing tools and how they used them, and sat down with the staff and users. We then went away, did our research and developed user personas. Our design specification included user flows, task flows and prototypes where we sort to give life to our study. In the final testing, we evaluated the end-product's overall quality with usability testing.
The results were a ground-breaking interface for CitySprint that is easy to use and works hard to keep operations on track.
